FuturGen

FuturGen is an evidence-based teen pregnancy prevention program that focuses on addressing the barriers hindering El Paso County adolescents from obtaining optimal health.

FuturGen delivers programming in three settings in El Paso County – school districts, communities, and healthcare facilities – with a focus on teen pregnancy prevention and the reduction of sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and HIV.

The goal of FuturGen is to advance equity in adolescent health by targeting resources to specifically support the replication of medically accurate, age-appropriate, evidence-based teen pregnancy prevention programs.

about futurgen

Project Vida’s FuturGen program was created to improve the overall health of adolescents, and reduce teen pregnancy and STIs in El Paso County, primarily in Socorro ISD and San Elizario ISD. The program’s intention is to demonstrate the need for increased evidence-based programs, particularly those serving high-risk groups and communities.
