Current Enrollment

Project Vida Campus Care facilitates mental health support for students in six area school districts: Socorro, Clint, Canutillo, Fort Hancock, Tornillo, and San Elizario. Since its launch in 2022, the program has served over 43,000 students and family members with 6,689 medical encounters and 36,494 therapy sessions. These remarkable figures underscore the dedication of our Campus Care team and its commitment to fostering the well-being of students and their families

services

  • Therapists and Navigators serve students struggling with mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral issues, and academic problems that may be indicative of underlying mental health issues (excluding acute crisis).

  • School Counselors connect students and parents to a Campus Care Navigator for enrollment.

  • Campus Care is not suitable for active suicide cases.

  • Project Vida Campus Care takes most major private and government insurance, and offers a discount program for uninsured or underinsured families.

  • Campus Care offers services regardless of residency status.

  • Campus Care works with Project Vida Health Center psychiatrists if and when needed by the student or a family member.

  • No student is left without attention. When capacity is reached at the schools, referrals are made to Project Vida Health Center’s Behavioral Health clinics or outside resources.

  • If Campus Care is not offered at your child’s school, Campus Care Navigators can help you access Project Vida Health Center’s Behavioral Health services.

  • The Campus Care day clinic provides telehealth acute care services through TytoCare in Clint ISD and San Elizario ISD. Rapid testing for strep throat, flu, or COVID-19 is offered; results are available in 15 minutes.

  • Parents must complete a Project Vida Campus Care Consent Form for program enrollment before receiving services.

  • Consent forms are available on the parent portal of participating school districts and in the Nurse’s Office of participating campuses.
